No rent to be paid following mortgagee order for possession.
If an order for possession is made in the favour of a mortgagee, a tenant will not be required to pay any rent, fee or other charge relating to occupation of the premises in the period following the order. The tenant is entitled to compensation for any rent paid in respect of that period.
Where the person is not a mortgagee, a tenant can make an application for compensation of any rent paid in the period following service of the order.
